Grass Valley and Nevada City:

These two towns are 17 miles to the south of us on Highway 49. These towns have historical gold mining sites, shops, restaurants and museums.

Bullards Bar Reservoir:

This lake is 5 miles from us. The lake is 12 miles long and 53 miles around. Great for skiing, fishing and hiking.

Malakoff Diggins State Park:

This park is 15 miles from us. It is a restored gold mining town, and shows the effects of hydraulic mining in the area.

Downieville:

This town is 30 miles to the north of us on Highway 49. The Downie River and North Fork of the Yuba River join here. Downieville is becoming famous for it's mountain biking trails. You will find that it's a beautiful drive up the river canyon. There are restaurants and historical sites in Downieville.
